Blind Werewolf. Age: 265 | Height: 5'10" | Eyes: Sage/Emerald Green | Hair: Brown with hints of mahogany | Wolf: White and smaller than average
Alec first appeared in Death of the Moon as one of the main characters. He is blind but navigates the world using his remaining werewolf-enhanced senses. Unlike most werecreatures, Alec is long-lived and even he doesn't understand why. Born a witch with a rare power known as the radharc na fírinne, or sight of truth, passed down through his mother's bloodline, Alec never should have become a werewolf.
At the beginning of Silence, Alec was mourning the loss of his best friend and mentor, Ari. With her death, he temporarily lost his ability to navigate the world until Rin came into his life. With his ever-growing pack and Damien at his side, Alec learned to live again. During The Silence, Alec was the only werecreature that was able to shift and he didn’t learn why. His wolf form changed to a brighter white with an unknown kanji symbol appearing on his forehead. As his new, unknown power grew, so too did his confidence.

Homicide Detective. Age: 39 | Height: 6'0" | Eyes: Steel Blue | Hair: Dark Brown
Damien first appeared in Death of the Moon as one of the main characters. He started out as an unaware human detective, but didn't remain unaware for long. Damien stumbled into the preternatural world after a series of cases with evidence that didn't add up and his neighbor, Tim Singer, became a target--and also shifted into a bobcat before Damien's eyes. With the help of Alec, Damien's werewolf boyfriend, Damien was able to solve the cases. But it came at a cost.
At the beginning of Silence, Damien blamed himself for Ari's death--he'd pulled the trigger after all--and the suffering Alec was going through. With a new preternatural case on his hands, Damien couldn't catch a break. Then, he started seeing things--things that weren't there. He'd gained the use of Alec's radharc na fírinne, or sight of truth, but didn't learn why or how the power had come to him.
